A Dry Well

Great actors possess free and profound access to their own emotional lives. I am not a great actor. On set today, I was unable to produce tears, or even adequately 'stay with the moment,' to produce a bit of truth in one, crucial moment. The flaw in the scene, thus created, will be cheated by editing. But, for a film with any kind of larger budget, this would have been a firable offense. The director is a mensch, though. He did not make me feel bad. On second thought, maybe he should have.

Tomorrow is another day.
