"Late Bloomers"

Two things come to mind: 1) when I was with another middle-aged comic in Myrtle Beach we had a long conversation about how middle-age people (vs. young people) have more life experience from which to draw comedy from; and 2) I never forget Nelson Mandela's biography--27 years in prison to achieve his goals. Although I'm not saving the world with my art, it did make me think 10 years is not long to dedicate to something you truly believe in.
