Back on the Road

I'm back on the road for the spring leg of the American Shakespeare Center’s 2013/14  ’The World’s Mine Oyster’ Tour, with shows in venues as far flung as Daytona Beach, Fl., Austin, Texas, Mt. Pleasant, IA, State College, PA, Murray, Kentucky, and many stops in between.

In early April, the tour returns to the Blackfriars Playhouse, in Staunton, VA, where it will continue performing for the spring season, which runs early-April through mid June.
Other projects I'm working on include adapting Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale for low-budget film production, to be be shot in eastern Oregon and on the Oregon coast. If you’re interested in collaborating on The Winter’s Tale, feel free to contact me for more information. This will be a labor of love, and will explore themes of friendship, jealousy, paternal love, matrimonial passion, redemption, and what it may mean  to “go off the grid.”

”We are our brother’s keeper,” is a notion from which this retelling of Shakespeare’s heart full, tragic, funny, and ultimately romantic tale will find its start.
